A Valley Tradition Since 1932!

About the Royal Coronation of King Citrus and Queen Citrianna

The Royal Coronation of King Citrus and Queen Citrianna is the shining jewel of the Texas Citrus Fiesta, a tradition that unites our valley in celebration of the season's harvest. Each year, we crown our new regents in a ceremony steeped in history and local pride, honoring the individuals who embody the spirit and hard work of the citrus industry.

Visitors from far and wide gather to witness the pageantry and splendor of the court, where handcrafted costumes tell a story of innovation and tradition. The coronation is more than just a ceremony; it is a commitment to representing the valley and its people with grace and enthusiasm throughout the festival year.

This event highlights the deep-rooted connections between our land, our farmers, and our residents, celebrating the vibrant oranges and grapefruits that are the lifeblood of our region. Join us as we celebrate the legacy of the Texas Citrus Fiesta and the enduring allure of our royal family.
